That's IT!!!

No more. That is it, I mean it he is not getting any older!!!! My little guy is getting way to big way way way too fast. The Riley house has officially changed, Connor is on the move. He is not crawling just yet but he can just about roll himself anywhere and fast!! The little guy loves to roll around and play with all of his toys.  He is also cutting his first tooth. There is a little white dot on his gum line. He turned five months last Thursday and he weighted about 15.8 lbs. Connor's new love is the cat Oscar, every time he walks by Connor laughs. If Oscar gets close Connor tries to  pulls his ears or whiskers, I might add Oscar is taking it rather well.

This past weekend we went to Laramie, Wyoming and had a wonderful Easter with his Aunt Erin and Uncle Ben. On Saturday night we went to Easter Vigil as well as Ben's Conformation and I have to brag that Connor was the best baby there, he slept through the whole Mass (about 4 hours). It was really neat and Christian and I can not thank Ben and Erin enough for all the work that they are doing to prepare to become Connor's Godparents. Sunday we had a great Easter lunch and came on home. Oh I almost forgot the Easter Bunny came and left Connor the biggest Bunny ever!!! Well that is all that is going on in our neck of the woods. We are ready for summer to start, it is currently snowing....Of course there are some pictures below. Love you all.

Connor Micheal Riley five months

Fun Times with Nana and Papa

All is well at the Riley house. Connor is doing great and Mommy and Daddy just can not get enough of him.  Nana and Papa (my Mom and Dad) came to town for a few days. We all had a blast. It is fun to watch them experience all the new things that Connor can do. Mom and Dad are great with the little guy. We wish they  lived closer so that they could babysit all the time!!! Connor also made friends with his Uncle Paco!! They are snuggle buddies. Paco is a perfect size for a four and a half month old!! Connor would hold on tight to him and Paco would just take it as it came. I think that they are going to be great friends in the future. For all that do not know Paco is a Chihuahua.
Connor is working on getting his toes into his mouth. He can sit up unassisted for a few moments. He loves loves loves sweet potatoes but is not fond of pears yet. Bath time is getting rather exciting Connor loves to thrash around and kick the toys in the tub. We went to see the Easter Bunny this past weekend. Connor did good but the bunny was rather large so when Connor would look at him he would start crying. That's about all that is new up here in Colorado. We are looking forward to the Spring and Summer days. Our next adventure will be going to Wyoming for the first time. Connor will get to visit his Aunt and Uncle for Easter. I hope he loves Wyoming as much as the Nemec's do!!

Hello all. Now that we seem to be somewhat on a schedule I am trying to stay on top of this blogging thing. So what is new at the Riley house? Well as usually we are redoing the back yard, Connor has been a big help. He lays in his pack and play outside and supervises. Don't worry I slather his with 80 SPF every few hours. He loves being outside. Now if outside would just stay one temperature we would go out more. One day it is 80 degrees outside then the next day it freezes. Connor's only issue with this year’s back yard renovation is the Home Depot. He thinks the place is really boring and he cannot figure out why we keep going back over and over again, sometime more than once in the same day. So we need to fix that because well Nemec's spend A LOT of time at the Home Depot.
Connor has defiantly become more independent, he still loves to be held and snuggled but he also loves to play with his toys. He likes to sit in is highchair and watch all of us do our thing. He has started to take a liking (or pulling) to the animals. OK he likes to pull on everything, if you get to close to hism he will get your nose, your hair or your ear and my personal favorite your mouth. He is doing great with the whole eating thing. Today we tried sweet potatoes, they were a major success.  I spent the most of the day steaming, pureeing and freezing about three weeks of food for him. We will try peas next. He is also getting better and better at sitting up for long periods of time, of course I have to help him but he is getting there. He has master rolling from back to front. I know that it is important developmentally but it scares me. I walked into his room today and he had rolled over for the first time in his crib !! Overall we are all doing great. I think that it is going to be a great summer with the little guy! Well we love you all and of course there are pictures below.
