6 Months!!

       Well this Saturday Connor turned 6 months!! It was a little bittersweet. It is so neat to watch him get big and turn into such a happy little boy, but it is hard to believe that it has already been 6 months. Man he is going to be a year before we know it. Connor is doing good. He sits up all the time and plays with his toys. Of course he loves to eat and can even hold his own bottle. He is starting to really interact with the other animals. The most exciting thing would be that he said DADA last week. Ok well he said dadadadadadadadadadada but we will take it!
       We are all getting ready for the arrival of the Great-Grandparents. We will go down to Santa Fe for a few days and hang out with my parents and my grandparents. Then we will come back to the Springs for Connor Baptism. We are all really excited.   
        For the last week my Mother-in-law has been in town. We all have had a great time. I am in summer school so when I am in class she watches the little guy. She has been a great help. Connor really likes to hang out with Grandma! Oh and we celebrated Christian's Birthday, as well as Connor's Grandpa Riley's Birthday last week. That's about it we are all doing great and enjoying every minute with our sweet little boy. Of course there are tons of pictures below.

Mother's Day

        What can I say, that was the best Mother's Day ever!! We went down to my parents house in Santa Fe and had a great time. Mother's day morning Mom and I opened presents and got lots of flowers! Then Christian made breakfast. Yummm! Connor had a blast, well most of the time. He went into the swimming pool for the first time, lets just say it did not go over very well. Next time we are down in Santa Fe we are going to attempt it again, so we will see how he does. Speaking of the little dude he is just growing and growing and growing. He can sit up all by himself now (for a few minutes). He is desperately trying to figure out this crawling thing and loves to jump in all the different jumpy toys he has. Connor doesn't have to sit in a car seat in the stores or at a restaurant anymore. He is getting to be such a big boy. His latest thing is to stick  his tongue out at you. I am not sure where he picked that up but at this age everyone is finding it cute.  It was great, for Cinco de Mayo Connor had avocado for the first time.  He sure loves his food. 
        Grandma Riley is headed our way this weekend. She is going to spend two weeks with us while I finish up a class for school. Then it will be time to get this little dude baptized!! Christian has started taking some leave which means he will be leaving soon  :0(  but we are enjoying the last two month as a family before he has to go. Christian's birthday is this upcoming Monday, Connor made him a really nice gift, I will post a picture next time. Well that's about it. Of course there are lots of pictures!! Love you all
